I photograph people. I started backstage, at concerts — that's where you learn to recognise the one moment before it passes.
I studied physics and philosophy. Physics taught me to look more precisely. Philosophy taught me to question what I see.
Today I work in the studio and on location across Munich — with people who understand that a good image does not happen by chance. What interests me is not the perfect picture, but the honest one: the brief instant when someone stops performing, and simply is.
I create an atmosphere in which people forget they are being photographed — through calm, conversation, the right pace. And then I am ready when the moment comes.
